Mike has been involved in baseball his whole Life. 2014 marked his 33rd year that Mike has been employed by Major League Baseball. The former minor league catcher played with both the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves. After his playing days ended, Mike graduated from the MLB Scout School where he accepted a position as Video scout. While working in that position Mike scouted the top players each year for the free agent draft. In 1999 he was on the staff of the Silver Medal winning team that represented The United States in the Pan American Games. That team later went on to win a Gold medal in the 2000 Olympics. In the same year, Mike accepted a job with the Colorado Rockies to head up their Video Coaching Dept. While in Colorado , Mike worked with some of the best hitters in the game such as Todd Helton, Larry Walker, Matt Holiday, and Troy Tulowitzki. In 2006 He was promoted to Major League Scout and was in charge of 5 MLB organizations.
